Ferrari and Schumacher Grab 2nd Place at Baharain
Despite an all Ferrari front row (first time since Hungary in 2004), Ferrari made a statement by showing that their time off during the winter was very productive. However, Felipe Massa mustered up a ninth place finish after dueling with Alonso and spinning, flat-spotting his tires which required a stop in the pits. His release from the pits was not smooth as the right rear tire was stubborn in releasing adding un-needed pit time.

What was very evident is this is going to be a very close season with all of the cars closing the gap between the top dogs. Kimi had an impressive drive, coming from 22nd spot to finish on the podium in third place. IT's too bad his impressive drive doesn't add to his personality. Rookie Nico Rosberg had a phenomenal debut, picking up points in his first F1 race. This also included an unscheduled pit visit after only one lap for a new front wing after a collision on the first lap. Our American, Scott Speed picked up 13th place for the Toro Rosso team for a nice first race as well.

All in all, it was an impressive debut for the 248 F1 and a much needed boost to the team's ego.
